Early Victorian Steel Palette Knife

SKU: RJ00898
£20.00Price

This is a steel palette knife from the early in the Victorian era. A lot of kitchen utensils during the 19th century were made from steel, this was hard waring, but would need to be in constant use because of rusting, cooks would often oil these items to prevent the rusting. This has a nice turned handle and a small ring to hang it with.

The edge of the knife has been a little nibbled due to constant use, the handle is in good condition.

Measuring 32cm in length
