Victorian Glass Inkwell

Before the invention of the fountain pen, all correspondence would be done using a dip pen and ink. Inkwells came in all shapes and sizes and for all pockets, from the humble stone bottle to the wonderfully ornate bronze and silver inkwells.

This is a heavy glass inkwell, with two pen rests on top of the inkwell.  This would be used on a gentleman's desk or in a professional office. Dip pen not included.

The inkwell body is in excellent condition, there are some chips to the stopper, shown in the close up picture, which are not visible when the stopper is in place.
