Set of Four Victorian Wine Glasses
In the 19th century a wine glass would be quite small, the reason being that large dinner parties would consists of several courses and each course would be accompanied by a different wine, by the end of the meal you could consume a lot of wine, so by keeping the glasses small it helped to regulate your consumption.
These are a set of four super quality Victorian wine glasses with lozenge cutting to the bowl and a fine band of engraved leaves to the rim. Complete with faceted stem and star cut base.
