Pewter Tea Pot Victorian
From the seventeenth century onwards, there was scarcely a household in Britain that did not possess some items of pewter: plates, bowls, tankards, spoons, candlesticks were just some of the everyday items made from pewter.
Pewter tea pot with engraved floral design to the body and an engraved patteren running around the top and the lid.
This tea pot would have been used in a humble cottage or below stairs in a larger house.
No splits but some minor scratches.
