Late Victorian Cranberry Glass Jug

Cranberry glass is a reddish pink glass made by adding gold salts or colloidal gold to molten glass, first made during the late Roman empire, but this skill was then lost. It was rediscovered by Bohemian glass makers in the 17th century. Cranberry glass reached its height during Victorian England.
 
This is a hand made cranberry glass water jug with a hand applied clear handle.The spout is an unusual three cornered shape. the glass shows lots of interenal bubbles, which is always lovely to see and occures when the moulton glass is blown by hand.
 
Condition is good with no cracks or chips.
