Part of every household medicine or first aid cabinet would be a glass or pottery eye bath mostly in clear glass or white pottery, but also in green and blue glass. All chemist shops would carry these in stock.

This example is in green glass and would have been a more expensive style used in a more upmarket house than the clear glass versions
