The Victorians were very fond of all things botanical and the fern decoration appears on all manor of things from pottery and glass to furnishings. The Victorian period brought with it fern-mania, which drew enthusiasts from all social backgrounds.
 
These are a set of four champagne coupes with an egraved band of ferns running around the centre of each bowl.
 
In very good condition with no chips or cracks.
