Early 20th Century Silver Plated Cake Stand

During the Victorian times it was popular for ladies of society to entertain guests for afternoon tea.This would mean an elaborate display of silverware and china, with an intent to impress. This practice carried on well into the 20th century.
 
This is a really nice silver plated cake stand, and is unusual to have two original silver plated dishes, each decorated with a beaded edge. This would have been used in a wealthy household and also would be popular in a high street establishment such as a tea rooms.
 
In good condition, no wear to the silver plated stand or dishes.
