Art Deco Silver Plated Tea Set
During the end of the victorian period and into the first half of the 20th century, hotels around the world would serve tea to their guests in silver plated wares, because of their constant use these had to be made of a good guage and the silver was often plated twice or three times to enable the piece to last for many years.
This is a smart silver plated Art Deco Hotel ware Tea service, The handle and finial to the tea pot lid is typical of the design of this period.This would have been used a smart hotel or tea rooms of the time.
The silver plate is in good condition, and there are no dinges or splits to the body of the pieces.
