This is a fine quality velvet-covered notebook, with gilt corners to protect the velvet and a small gilt clasp, complete with original pencil, the silk-covered inside has a small pocket.
 
Condition of the velvet and the gilt edging is very good, and the clasp works well. The external velvet spine is in good order, but their are a couple of tiny splits to the inside silk, but overall in very good condition.
