The game of dominoes is thought to have originated in China, many centuries ago. It is believed that it was first introduced into Europe during the middle of the 18th century, by Italian missionaries returning from China.

This is a wooden dominoes set complete with 28 pieces. It has great typography on the lid and advertises that the pieces were "embossed".

The wooden box and pieces are all intact, however it does have some scuffs to the box and the printed lid.
