The game of draughts has been played in varying forms since the year 3000. It is still a popular game today, but was widely played during the 19th century and all through the  20th century, onl;y loosing popularity once mechanical games were introduced. It was a great family Past time and was enjoyed by all ages.

 

This is a wooden Draught set with great typography to the lid, the colours and design evoking the 1920s.

 

The box is in good condition and all of the draughtmen are complete, there is a little tearing to the printed lid but no losses.This wood have been used a middle income family home.
