Late Victorian Tea Set
The turn of the century fashions saw a departure from the elaborate and over-decorated style of the early Victorian era. Everything from architecture, furniture, clothes and household objects had clear smarter lines. This was echoed in the design for pottery and china. A popular pottery design would be a simple gold line or blue line.
This eight piece tea set relfects that change in fashions, with simple clean blue decoration. The set is comprised of: tea pot, 3 x cups and saucers, and a sugar bowl.
In general good order. no chips or cracks to the pottery.
