An Early 20th Century Water Jug with Pall Mall Decoration
In the Edwardian era, a style of glass called Pall Mall was designed (also known as the Lady Hamilton design ) with an acid etched scroll decoration above a criss cross cut design. This design was really popular and carried on until the 1960s. It was believed that the famous Woolworth stores carried this glass ware.
This is a smart water jug showing the Pall Mall design, it also has a star cut base, popular in most households during the first half of the 20th century.
