In the Edwardian era, a style of glass called Pall Mall was designed (also known as the Lady Hamilton design ) with an acid etched scroll decoration above a criss cross cut design. This design was really popular and carried on until the 1960s. It was believed that the famous Woolworth stores carried this glass ware.

 

This is a smart water jug showing the Pall Mall design, it also has a star cut base, popular in most households during the first half of the 20th century.

 

In good condition

 

Dimensions: 14cm high x 15cm wide including handle
