All laundry would have been washed by hand in a zinc dolly tub accompanied by a pair of wooden tongs and a zinc washboard.

This washboard has hooks on the back in order to attach it to the dolly tub. The clothes would be soaped and rubbed up and down the ribs of th washboard to remove stains. The tongs are used to remove items form the soapy water.

In very good condition.
