Copper harvester jugs were part of large country house kitchens, the purpose of which was to fill with ale and take out to the farm workers at harvesting time.
This particular jug is a victorian copper jug with 'Quart' engraved onto the side and a lead duty mark to the top.
The body of the jug is in good condition. There is a small dinge on the front.
Made around 1880 in England.
Measuring 20cm high with a base diameter of 20cm.
