Victorian Asiatic Pheasant Serving Plate or Charger
Asiatic pheasant was a design which was very popular during the Victorian period. It was always with a pale blue colour and the design would have been used on all types of domestic pottery, and was manufactured in Staffordshire by several different factories.
This is a large serving plate in the Asiatic pheasant design, and would be dispayed on shelves and dressers at the time, or used to serve the Sunday roast.
Condition is good with no chips or cracks
