Early 20th Century Two Bottle Tantalus
A two bottle tantalus, complete with key. A tantalus was a fashionable thing to have at the end of the 19th and early 20th century. It was brought about by necessity, to stop staff from stealing the booze. The oak frame pivots to cover and lock the cut glass spirit bottles into place.
In very good condition.
