A Late Victorian Silver Plated Chamberstick and Snuffer
As candles were the primary source of light in the 1800 and early 1900's, chambersticks were a necessary household item. They would have been made in various materials to suit all household incomes. Chambersticks were used each night by all members of the family to light their way to bed.
This chamberstick is made from silver plate and is accompanied with a snuffer.
It is in very good condition.
