Silver Casket with Gilded Interior

Dressing tables throughout the 19th and early 20th century, were adorned with various scent and cologne bottles. These were made from several types of materials including pottery, glass and silver.

This is a hallmarked casket with hindged lid and gilded interior.  Hallmarked Birmingham 1905.

In very good condition.
