Set of 6 Early 20th century Homeopathic Bottles
Homeopathy was developed in the late 18th century by Samuel Hahnmann a respected doctor in Germany. Hahnmann believed that "like cures like" and that minute concentrations of a particular toxin could cure the very same symptom; think poison ivy to treat rashes. This therapy was used extensively during the Victorian era and beyond. Most chemists of the day would stock these items.
