SKU: RJ00228
£120.00Price

During the 19th century the pharmacy or apothecary was part of the main hub of every town or village. As this was before the national health service, the people would rely on their local chemist for advice, and if they were lucky enough to afford a doctor, their prescriptions. A necessary part of the chemists equipment would be glass jars for measuring and dispensing various liquids for embrocations and linctuses etc.

This is a set of 4 conical-shaped chemist jars of differing sizes, sold as a set of four.

The glass is all in good condition with no chips or cracks.

Dimensions: the largest measures 20cm high x 12cm wide, the smallest 14cm x 9cm.
