Mid 19th Century Green Glass
In the 19th century a wine glass would be quite small, the reason being that large dinner parties would consists of several courses and each course would be accompanied by a different wine, by the end of the meal you could consume a lot of wine, so by keeping the glasses small it helped to regulate your consumption.
These are fabulous mid 19th century green glasses c1850, they came from a country house called Newbold Pacey Hall.
