Early 20th century fasions saw a departure from the elaborate and over-decorated style of the Victorian era. Everything from Architecture, furniture, clothes and household objects had clear smarter lines. This was echoed in the design for pottery and china. A popular pottery design would be a simple gold line or blue line.
 
This is a lovely 5 piece Solian ware coffee set with tall coffee pot and 5 cups and saucers.
