Late Victorian Celery Vase
SKU: RJ00892
£38.00Price
There was a fashion in the Victorian times for celery vases, they were produced in great volume from several glass makers, I can only presume they ate a lot of celery at this time. Fresh celery would be placed in a vase full of water and would be snacked on throughout the day. Today these are popular flower vases or can be used as a hurricane lamp with a church candle.
This is a very finely engraved good quality celery vase.
In good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measuring 22cm high and 9.5cm wide
