Brass Four Legged Trivet / Stand
Trivets were common place in the Victorian household and used for standing hot irons or kettles on to stop them marking surfaces.
This trivet is rectangular in shape with four legs and made entirely of brass. To the underside it has a maker's mark for W.T & S and a registration mark from 1913. As you'd expect from a piece with a registered design, it is of good quality with a heavy gauge of metal.
In very good condition.
Dimesions: 31cm across x 14cm deep x 12cm high.
