Early 20th Century Brass Counter Bell
Bells were plentiful during the 19th and early 20th century and were used in all manner of situations, from a large school bell to counter bells in shops and delicate bells for ladies to use around the house to summon staff.
This is a small brass counter bell, which would have been in place in most high-street establishments. It is operated by hiting the button on top of the bell with the palm of your hand.
The general condition is good is works well.
