In the 18th and 19 th century most homes would have a bible. The wealthier homes would have a large family bible.
This bible is Old and New Testament and is leather bound with brass corners and a pair of elaborate brass clasps. It has some illustrations inside the first one being in colour.
The overall condition is good, the leather has some minor scuffs, the brass clasps work well.
