A large pair of French, gilt, four-branch candelabra with marble bases, each with a diaphanous female depicting Autumn. The first holding a sheath of wheat and the second holding grapes. 
 
The gilding is in good condition, one marble base has some damage as per the photo. 

These grand candelabra would have belonged to a wealthy household and would be suitable for a parlour, dining room or bedchamber. c.1870
