Victorian Tin and Copper Mould
Victorian fashions precipitated a boom in elaborate deserts designed to impress, with ladies of the day competing with each other over acquiring the most unusual moulds, typically of exotic flora and fauna. Kitchens would proudly display their best jelly moulds and copper-ware to the envy of their peers.
This mould is constructed from tin with a copper decoration. It would have been used in a wealthier household for showing off your fine dinning skills
