A set of 4 Victorian Engraved Custard Cups
The Victorians were very fond of entertaining and loved to have a glass or piece of pottery for every occasion or use. Elaborate dessert were popular at the time, and custard cups would be part of this course.
Custard cups are small glasses usually with a tiny handle and would be used to serve such desserts as lemon posset or sylabub.
