A Pair of Early 20th Century Leather Riding Boots with Boot Trees
A very popular pastime for the gentry in the Victorian and Edwardian period was fox hunting. Large country houses would regularly host shooting and hunting parties. In the countryside, fox hunting was a frequent event, and for this you would need the correct attire.
This is a pair of leather riding boots complete with original boot trees. This type of boot would have been made bespoke. These boots are not now suitable for wearing, more for decoration.
Condition of the boots and trees is very good, no loss of stitching to the leather, one boot has very slight scuffing to the toes
