Victorian Brass Cribbage Board
The game of cribbage was very popular during the 19th century and continues to this day. Cribbage is a card game and requires a cribbage board as a marker. The boards were usualy made from oak and brass but the more prestigious ones were made from exotic woods and sometimes ivory and bone.
This is a brass cribbage board on turned brass feet. This would have been in the household of a middle to high income family or in a high street establishment such a gentleman's club.
Condition is very good throughout.
