A Pancheon was a large stoneware pot used to bake bread in the Victorian kitchen. This on is a good size with the typical treacle glaze.

 

No Cracks or chips, their are 3 kiln marks on the inside of the bowl which is common on this type of glazing from where they have been stacked in the kiln.
