This is a Victorian Sewing basket complete with sewing implements, It would be in a middle income household or be used below stairs in a wealthy house.
It is in very good condition all of the wicker is in tact and the velvet interior is sound, the leather covered lid has no tears or splits ,and the small tab is in tact by which you lift the lid.
