A Victorian Pub Glass 3 Available
In the last quarter of the 19th century, heavy pub glasses were produced in large volume. These were a stemmed glass holding half a pint. A pint glass would mostly be used for draft beer, the half pint glass would have been for bottled beers, stouts and very cheap imported wine. These stemmed glasses were of a robust nature, moulded in three parts before being fused together, and produced on an industrial scale. This process whould enable large ornate glasses to be produced inexpensively.
