1930s Pewter Tea or Tobacco Pot

1930s Pewter Tea or Tobacco Pot

SKU: RJ01206
£22.00Price

From the seventeenth century onwards, there was scarcely a household in Britain that did not possess some items of pewter: plates, bowls, tankards, spoons, candlesticks were just some of the everyday items made from pewter.

The pewter pot was made in the 1930 when there was a revival of all things pewter. It would have probably have been used for tobacco or even in a kitchen for loose tea or sugar. It would have been in a working class family home.

Measuring: 12cm high x 9cm diameter
